Helpful Tips for Cleaning Your Tennis Court

Blog

If you own a tennis court or if you are responsible for some type of public tennis court, such as at your local country club or park, then you might want to know a little more about keeping it clean. You might know some of the basics, or you might be a total beginner at taking care of tennis courts and might not really know anything about cleaning your tennis court at all. Either way, you will probably find the advice below to be helpful.

Invest in Multiple Tennis Court Brooms

If you don't already have at least one tennis court broom, now is the time to shop for one. You can purchase one locally or online from a store that sells tennis court supplies. Using a tennis court broom is ideal if you want to be able to easily and thoroughly clean your tennis court without damaging its surface. You may want to buy more than one tennis court broom so that you'll be prepared to take good care of your tennis court. Then, you and another person can clean your tennis court at the same time, which can help you get the job done more quickly. You can also buy both a nylon-bristled tennis court broom and a tennis court broom with hair bristles so that you'll be prepared for different types of cleaning jobs.

Clean the Tennis Court Often

You will need to clean your tennis court often if you want to prevent stains, scratches and other damage. The more that you do it, the more experienced you will become, and you might find that you will be able to clean your tennis court much more quickly and thoroughly after you get some practice. Doing it more often can help you get the job done more quickly due to your tennis court not being as dirty each time that you clean it, too.

Use Water and Detergent

You can dry sweep your tennis court to get rid of debris, but at least once a month or when the tennis court looks dirty and grimy, you will want to use water and detergent. This can help you do a more thorough job of cleaning your tennis court. When mixing up a detergent, you'll want to use something that is gentle and effective. For example, mixing up a small amount of dish soap with water is a good solution for many types of tennis courts, and you'll probably find that it's very effective at removing spills, bird droppings and more.

Investing in New Industrial Equipment

Hello, my name is Richard and I own a medium-sized industrial unit in Sydney, Australia. I only started the business a few months ago, so I am not a professional in any sense of the word. Before I could set the business going, I had to kit out the new factory with equipment. I didn't have a clue where to source the best equipment or how to get the best deal. Thankfully, my brother-in-law is worked in manufacturing for many years. He came along with me when we viewed the equipment and got me the very best stuff. I decided to start this blog to help others who are just starting out.
